Guestlist Vs Table

When guestlist stops being the best answer and a table should take over.

Free signup is useful, but it is not the right answer for every Las Vegas nightlife group.

Guestlist works best when your group is flexible, willing to arrive early, dressed correctly, and comfortable with the fact that the venue still controls the final outcome. That can be a great fit for groups that want to try for no-cover entry or reduced entry without paying for premium space up front.

The problem starts when the group wants the benefits of a table while still expecting guestlist to behave like guaranteed access. If the trip depends on later arrival, faster entry, a reserved area, or a smoother birthday or bachelor-party flow, the value of a table usually becomes more obvious than the appeal of free signup.

Venue type matters too. At XS Nightclub, a table makes more sense faster on major DJ nights, especially if the group wants a classic nightclub room and big-room bottle-service energy. At Encore Beach Club, a cabana, daybed, or bungalow becomes stronger when the daytime plan is really about seating, sun, and a stable home base. At Encore Beach at Night, premium space can be the cleaner answer when the group wants the open-air atmosphere without guessing how late arrival or event-specific rules will play out.

  • Stay with guestlist when the group can arrive early, follow dress code, and accept venue-controlled entry.
  • Move to a table when the trip depends on guaranteed access, later timing, birthdays, bachelor parties, or premium space.
  • Upgrade faster on big DJ nights, busy weekends, and male-heavy group mixes where guestlist uncertainty usually rises.
  • Use the venue guides first so the premium spend goes to the right option: nightclub, dayclub, or after-dark pool plan.

The simplest question is not “Is guestlist free?” It is “What would hurt this trip more: paying for space, or gambling the whole night on a line, timing pressure, and venue discretion?” Once you answer that honestly, the right move usually becomes clear.
